Adventure and Explore

Just down the Queen’s Highway from your home at Seaward, you’ll find the settlement of West End, a picturesque fishing village is steeped in a colorful history of arms smugglers, rum runners, and wreckers.

Immediately to the east of Seaward, the settlement of Eight Mile Rock is named after the eight miles of solid rock contained here. The "town" is actually a string of tiny settlements that take their names from the families who originally settled and still inhabit the land today. The picturesque little villages surrounding Seaward offer the quaint, rustic and friendly atmosphere of the Bahamas’ Outislands where you’ll find the friendly culture of the Bahamian people and some of their local brews, including Kalik Beer and local rums.  A wide selection of award-winning diversions can be found a bit farther east, including a variety of eco-attractions, parks, deserted beaches, bonefish flats and much, much more.
